At Cornell
Capping off a successful junior season, Christina DiMaria was elected to serve as a co-captain in her senior year. Her 2:05.54 in the 200 butterfly was the third-best on the team last year and good enough for fourth in the Cornell record books, while her time in the 100 butterfly was also the third best on the team and moved her into the ninth position all-time for the Big Red. DiMaria reached the consolation of the 200 fly at the Ivy championships, scoring critical points for the team and should have an impressive senior year.
At Red Bank Catholic
Named the team’s MVP at Red Bank Catholic HS, DiMaria was also the winner of both the school’s coaches’ award and the spirit award.
Personal
Christina N. DiMaria is the daughter of Mario and Rose Maria DiMaria, and she has two sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
