Women's Swimming Recruiting Coordinator

Corey Berg is in her sixth season assisting the men’s and women's swimming program at Cornell. A four-year swimmer at the University of Virginia, she graduated in May of 2006 with a bachelor's degree in economics. Berg is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports management at SUNY Cortland

The Hyde Park, N.Y., native was a two-time Olympic Trials qualifier in the 200-meter backstroke. She was also a finalist in the 100 and 200 backstroke and 200 IM at the ACC championships from 2003-2006. Berg represented Virginia at the NCAA championships in the 200 backstroke and 200 IM in 2003 and 2004.

Berg's parents, Brian and Christine, are both high school physical education teachers and coaches. Her brother, Kyle, is an assistant swimming coach at Kenyon College. Her sister, Shea, swam at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
