Biography
As a freshman (2014-15)
• Was a member of the Ivy League Championship team, scoring in the 100 fly and 100 back and also competing in the 200 back.
• Won the 100 fly at the Bomber Invitational, while also placing third in the 200 fly.
• Was second in the 100 fly against Columbia, Dartmouth and Harvard and Binghamton.
Prior to Cornell
• A four-time all-county swimmer at the Episcopal Academy, Rhodes holds the county record in the 100 butterfly (54.78).
• She took first place in the event at the Eastern Swimming Championship in 2014.
• She served as team captain as a senior after earning U.S. Swimming All-America accolades in 2013.
• Rhodes qualified for junior nationals in 2013.
Personal
• Emily Grace Rhodes is the daughter of Robert and Terri Rhodes and has an older and younger brother.
• Her older brother, Alex, is a member of the heavyweight rowing team.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
