Biography
At Cornell: Returning to the Big Red for her second season of diving, Schroeder was a strong leader on the boards last year, achieving six-dive scores of 234 on the 3-meter and 211 on the 1-meter board. She also earned points for the Big Red at the Ivies by placing 22nd in the 3-meter event. Schroeder is expected to continue to improve and is looking to have a great sophomore season. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Science.
At Fairport: Schroeder was a four-year letter winner at Fairport HS and was captain of the team her senior year. She competed in the New York state finals in both her junior and senior years and was named Fairport’s Diver of the Year two times. Schroeder also earned the Student-Athlete Scholastic Award and was nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman.
Personal: Gretchen Schroeder is the daughter of Mark and Cyndy Schroeder and has one younger sister.
