At Cornell
Park has seen a steady improvement all three years on the Big Red. Going into 2008-09 with a great attitude, she had a great junior year, which included a diving score of 223.80 in the 3 meter dive, the second best in Cornell history. With new training, Park was able to have a remarkable sophomore campaign. While she sometimes struggled with consistency during dual meets, she excelled at the 2008 Ivy championships and placed 14th on the 1-meter board and 23rd on the 3-meter board. Park also had success as a freshman. Against Colgate, she helped Cornell earn a 1-2-3 sweep on the 1-meter board, while taking fourth place in the 3-meter event. Park earned a spot on the Big Red’s team traveling to the Ivy championships and came in 29th on the 1- meter and 28th on the 3-meter board. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
At Scarsdale
A Section I champion at Scarsdale HS, Park was a four-time state qualifier and two-time state finalist. She was also a four-time All-America qualifier.
Personal
Jennifer A. Park is the daughter of John Park and Nancy McLaughlin and has one older brother and two younger sisters.
