At Cornell
After being sidelined with an illness for a portion of her first year, Berlin came back with a renewed purpose in her junior and sophomore seasons. A leader in the sprint group, she was a consistent contributor in dual meet competition and a go-to person for relays. Berlin's best race as a junior was as a member of the 400 relay squad that came in third in a dual meet against Navy and Yale. Leading up to the Ivies sophomore year, Berlin was the team’s second-fastest swimmer in the 50 and 100 free. At the Ivies she posted personal season-best times of 24.92 and 54.61, respectively, and was part of the 200 freestyle relay. During her freshman year, Berlin was a member of the 200- and 400-free relay at the Ivy championships. After a summer of training hard, she is ready to contribute significant points during the upcoming season. Berlin is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
At Scarsdale
Captain of her swim team, Berlin received all-section and all-league honors all four years at Scarsdale HS. She qualified for the New York state championships for three out of the four years and was a finalist in the 50 free.
