At Cornell
Senior Juliann Rienecker continued to impress in her junior year, breaking one school record, coming in at No. 2 on the all-time best list for another and being part of the 200 medley relay team that was the Big Red's sixth best ever. Her time of 2:20.09 in the 200 breaststroke was the school's best, while her No. 2 ranking came in the 100 breaststroke event. Rienecker contributed valuable points to the Big Red's efforts at the Ivy championships where she placed fourth in the consolation final in the 200 breast event.
At Atlee
Named valedictorian of her senior class at Atlee HS, Rienecker was a Virginia state qualifier all four years, as well as being named to the Central Region All-Academic team each year.
Personal
Juliann Rienecker is the daughter of Ron and Carol Reinecker, and she has a younger brother and older sister. She is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
