Biography
At Cornell
Morin came into her second season with the Big Red hoping to avoid the illnesses that plagued her during her freshman year. For the most part, she did stay healthy and was able to train appropriately for the distance events that are her forte (500, 1000 and 1650 Free). Primarily swimming freestyle, Morin ranked in the top 10 on the season-best top times list in four individual events: eighth in the 200 free, third in the 1000 free, third in the 1650 free and second in the 500 free. She missed the majority of her freshman season due to illness.
Prior to Cornell
Morin swam for LaSalle Academy and the Seacoast Swimming Association, earning USA Swimming Scholastic All-American accolades in 2010.
Personal
Kathrine Martha Morin is the daughter of Glenn and Leslie Morin and has one younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
