As a senior (2016-17)
• Competed in six meets during the season.
• Had a pair of top five event finishes during the season.
• Took fourth in the 100 fly in the dual meet win at St. Bonaventure.
As a junior (2015-16)
• Competed in six dual meet competitions in the sprint freestyle, backstroke and butterfly events.
• Was third in the 50 free against Colgate and in the 100 fly against Brown.
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Made the Ivy League Championship team in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 fly.
• Was a lineup regular during dual meet season, finishing in the top five in five races during the season.
• Ranked among the top five in the team in all three of her specialties during the season.
As a freshman (2013-14)
• Hoffman topped off a very solid freshman season with outstanding performances at the Ivy League Championships.
• She turned in lifetime best swims in the 50 free and 100 fly and barely missed a third in the 100 free.
• Her times ranked her highly on the team’s season’s best times list - fifth in the 100 free; fourth in the 50 free and third in the 100 fly.
• More significantly, she cracked the team’s all-time top 10 list – 10th in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 fly.
• Hoffman was the recipient of the Big Red’s Team Spirit Award for 2013-14.
Prior to Cornell
• Hoffman was a two-time second-team all-state pick and a six-time honorable mention honoree at Lyons Township HS.
• She was a co-captain as a senior and earned all-conference accolades.
Personal
• Louisa Jane Hoffman is the daughter of Scott and Ann Cote Hoffman and has two younger sisters.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
