Biography
At Cornell
Herlitz-Ferguson completed her third excellent season for Cornell with high rankings on the team’s all-time top 10 list. She ranks third in the 1-meter diving and second on the 3-meter. Herlitz-Ferguson consistently competed very well against the league’s best divers in dual meet competition and scored valuable points for the team. She and her twin sister, Bianca, seemed to push each other to good performances all season. She was a member of Cornell’s Ivy Championship team for the third consecutive season. Herlitz-Ferguson was selected as the recipient of diving’s MVP Award.
At The Masters School
Herlitz-Ferguson was a 2008 AAU All-American as a diver at The Masters School. She was a two-year conference champion while diving both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
Personal
Manita Michelle Herlitz-Ferguson is the daughter of MarkFerguson and Susanna Herlitz-Ferguson and has a twin sister and two younger brothers. Her sister, Bianca, is also a freshman on the Cornell diving team. Herlitz-Ferguson is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
