Competed in all nine meets for the Big Red, including Zippy Invite and Ivy League Championship ... opened season with runner-up finoish in 100 Backstroke against Binghamton ... was the first swimmer in Cornell's winning time of 3:54.67 in 400 Medley Relay versus St. Bonaventure ... grabbed runner-up spot with time of 56.25 in 100 Backstroke and bronze in 200 Backstroke to help Cornell knock off Harvard for the first time since 1983 ... earned silver in 200 Backstroke with time of 2:02.19 in Ivy tri-meet against Penn and Princeton ... logged 49 points at Zippy Invitational, headlined by season-best times in 100 Backstroke (55.73) and 200 Backstroke (2:00.67) ... helped Cornell to 96 points as first swimmer in 200 Medley and 400 Medley Relays in Akron ... earned second in 200 Backstroke and third in 100 Backstroke at Yale ... closed regular season against Brown with gold in 200 Backstroke (2:00.89) and silver with season-best 55.34 in 100 Backstroke ... earned 10 points combined in 100 and 200 Backstroke events at Ivy Championships ... named Academic All-Ivy and CSC Academic All-District.

2022-23 l JUNIOR SEASON
Competed in all seven regular season meets as well as the Zippy Invitational and the Ivy League Championship ... found the podium against St. Bonaventure with a second-place finish in the 200-Yard IM ... finished second in the 200-Yard backstroke against Penn and Princeton with a time of 2:10.91 ... brought in 36 points for Cornell at the Zippy Invitational from an 11th place finish in the 100-Yard Backstroke and a ninth place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke ... earned three points for Cornell against Yale by finishing third in the 200-Yard Backstroke ... earned another podium by finishing third in the 100-Yard Backstroke against Columbia ... helped her 200-Yard Medley Relay team to two podiums throughout the season, most notably taking second place against Penn and Princeton ... at the Ivy League Championship, finished 12th place in the 200-Yard Backstroke.

2021-22 l SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in seven meets, including the Zippy Invitational and Ivy Championship ... helped the 200-yard medley relay come third and managed a third-place finish in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:12.46 against St. Bonaventure ... had a pair of fifth place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard IM against Harvard and Dartmouth ... qualified for the B Final at the Zippy Invitational for 100-yard backstroke, finishing 13th in 57.07. Also won the B Final in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:01.13, which was the sixth best time in Cornell history ... had a pair of fifth place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard IM at Yale ... recorded back-to-back second-place finishes against Columbia and Brown in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke, respectively ... helped the 400-yard medley relay come in first against Binghamton ... made the C Final of the 400-yard IM at the Ivy Championship, finishing in 21st place with the 10th fastest time in school history (4:26.58).

2020-21 l FRESHMAN SEASON

2018 California CIF State Championship qualifier in the 100-backstroke and 200-IM ... two-time MVP of her Palo Alto High School team (2018, 19), serving as team captain as a senior ... swam on the club circuit for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics ... Speedo Winter Junior Nationals – West qualifier in the 200-backstroke and 200-IM ... named her club team’s Most Valuable Senior Swimmer in 2019 ... received the Coaches Honor Award in back-to-back years in 2017 and 2018 ... elected team captain for the 2019-20 season.

PERSONAL
Marie Catherine Williams is the daughter of Don and Cathy Williams and has a younger brother ... she is the 10th person in her extended family to attend Cornell ... she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
