2023-24 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Swam in eight meets during her first season on East Hill, including Zippy Invite and Ivy League Championship ... made Big Red debut by swimming a 26.58 opening split in Cornell's win in the 200 Medley Relay against Binghamton ... earned bronze in 100 Backstroke in same meet ... pushed Cornell to gold in 200 Medley Relay as first one in pool against Harvard/Dartmouth with a time of 1:41.76 and bronze in 100 Backstroke ... secured 25 points at Zippy Invite with time of 55.47 in 100 Backstroke ... also swam in three relays in Akron, logging 142 points to help Big Red to best finish in invite since 2019 ... helped Cornell to three consecutive podiums in 200 Medley Relays against Columbia, Yale, and Brown, including the top spot with a time of 1:41.80 against the Lions ... earned runner-up in 100 Backstroke at Yale (56.10) ... swam a season-best 55.36 to secure nine points in 100 Backstroke at Ivy Championship ... also swam opening legs of program record times in the 200 (1:40.30) and 400 (3:40.91) Medley Relays at Ivies.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Xu was a five year varsity swimmer at Brighton HS … she was awarded MVP in 2019, 2020, and 2021 … named all-greater Rochester swimmer of the year her sophomore year and junior year by the Democrat and Chronicle … named division two swimmer of the year her freshman and junior year … achieved all-greater Rochester first team as an eighth and ninth grader … she has held the section five class B 100 back & fly record since 2019 … she was named a scholar athlete for four consecutive years.

PERSONAL
Ming is the daughter of Yiheng Feng and Qingfu Xu, and has one older brother and one younger sister … her older brother attended Cornell in the class of 2015 … she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
