Earned one of Cornell's top 10 times in the 200 free (1:52.16).
Prior to Cornell
Patterson was a four time MVP for Andover HS swimming and diving and team captain her senior year, leading them to three state championships (2007, 2009, 2010). A three-time scholastic All American, she received a 2011 NCSA Coaches All-America Award. A 2008 state champion in the 200 free and part of the 2010 Massachusetts record-breaking 400 free relay which qualified as a National Top 16 high school relay, she qualified four years for NCSA Junior Nationals in multiple events.
Personal
Monica Marie Patterson is the daughter of Mark and Kathleen Patterson and has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
