At Cornell
Jibrine experienced a solid, but somewhat up-and-down season, that was slightly off from the standard of her previous two campaigns. She contributed depth to the team’s line up in the 100 and 200 fly and swam sprint freestyle. On the team’s season’s best times list, Jibrine was eighth in both the 100 and 200 fly. Her times rank Jibrine 10th in the 200 fly and ninth in the 100 fly on Cornell’s all-time top 10 list. Jibrine turned in a second solid season for the Big Red in 2012-13. Primarily competing in the 100 and 200 fly, she  added the 50 and 100 free to her event list. She competed for a second season on Cornell’s Ivy League Championship team. On the team’s season-best times list, she ranked fourth in the 100 fly and third in the 200 fly. Jibrine has two performances that put her on the school’s all-time top 10 list. She ranks seventh in the 200 fly and sixth in the 100 fly.

Prior to Cornell
Jibrine was an all-county and all-region selection at Cherokee HS, she was also named as a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. She was a four-time letter winner, two-time team MVP, served as team captain her senior year, and held school records in the 100m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 200m IM, 200m freestyle relay, and the 400m freestyle relay at the time of graduation.

Personal
Nicole Julia Jibrine is the daughter of Jack and Paula Jibrine and has one older sister. She is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
