As a junior (2018-19)

• Competed in three individual events at the Ivy League Championship (50 and 100 free, 100 breast).
• Won the 50 free with a time of 25.05 versus Bryant.
• Placed third in the 100 breast against St. Bonaventure.
• Placed in three of the four events she competed in at the Bomber/Ithaca Winter Invitational, including touching fourth in the 50 free.
• Finished fifth in the 50 free vs. Yale.
 

As a sophomore (2017-18)

• Posted the sixth-fastest time in school history in the 50 free at the Ivy League Championship with a 23.41.
• Anchored the 200 medley relay that registered the second-fastest time in Big Red history (1:41.76).
• Scored in the C final in the 100 breast (19th, 1:06.43) and 200 back (21st, 51.63).
• Closed out the meet by swimming the second leg of the 400 free relay of 3:23.92, a time than ranks No. 4 all-time at Cornell.
• Led off the 200 free relay that touched the wall in 1:32.91, a time that ranks fourth in school history.
• Had four individual top three finishes in dual meet races.
• Took second in both the 50 and 100 free at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
 

As a freshman (2016-17)

• Competed in five dual meets as a freshman.
• Competed primarily in the sprint freestyle events, while also posting a career-best time in the 100 breast.
• Won the 50 free in a dual meet against Brown, one of three top three finishes.
• Was second in the 100 free against St. Bonaventure.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Swell was a three-time YMCA All-American for the Red Bank YMCA while attending Rumson Fair-Haven HS.
• Captained both her high school and YMCA teams.
• Earned all-conference and all-county honors during her career.
• Was the team's top point scorer.
• Swam in the 2013 Maccabi Games for the USA in Israel.
• She also competed in tennis.
 

Personal

• Shoshana Elaine Swell is the daughter of Michael and Lori Swell and has a brother nad two sisters.
• Her father was a four-year member of the basketball team at Brandeis.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
