• Competed in six indoor meets, with three top-five placements
• Finished 14th in the 500 at the Ivy League Indoor Heps Championships (2/29-3/1).
As a Junior (2018-19)
• Competed in 12 track and field meets, with 10 top-five placements.
• Recorded a first-place finish in the 400 hurdles at the CNY College Challenge (4/23).
As a Sophomore (2017-18)
• Scored at Outdoor Heps as a member of the sixth-place 4x400 relay team (3:46.27).
• Also placed ninth in the 400 hurdles (1:03.03).
• Won the 400 hurdles at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational (1:04.54).
• Part of two winning indoor 4x400 relays at the Greg Page Relays (3:54.46) and the Upstate Challenge (3:58.13).
• Set personal record in the 400 hurdles at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational (1:02.70).
• Additionally, had PRs in the 500 at the Valentine Invitational (1:17.33) and the 600 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup (1:37.00).
As a Freshman (2016-17)
• Had a solid first season in the sprints and hurdles for Cornell, earning 14 top 10 finishes.
• Indoors, took second in the 600 at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open and third in the 500 at the Upstate Challenge before running a season-best of 1:18.38 in the event at the Columbia East-West Challenge.
• Also won the 300 hurdles at the Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational and placed 13th in the 400 at indoor Heps.
• Outdoors, finished second in the 400 hurdles at both the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet and the Cortland Classic.
• Finished 11th in the 400 hurdles at outdoor Heps.
Before Cornell
• Won the NYSPHSAA Division II 200 meter hurdles and placed sixth in the 400 meter dash.
• At the 2016 New York Federation Championships, came in eighth in the 400 meter hurdles.
• Was voted the ESPN Ithaca Indoor Track MVP in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and also captained the cross country team senior year.
• Was a member of the National Honor Society while in high school.
Personal
• Abbey Rose Yatsko is the daughter of Chris and Teresa Yatsko.
• She has one brother, Jacob, and she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
