Biography
At Cornell
Levy had a good junior year, improving across the board and emerging as one of the more reliable runners in the team’s middle distance corps. An All-East honoree as part of the Big Red’s 4X800 at the 2010 indoor ECACs, she is poised for even greater performances as a senior.
Before Cornell
Levy won seven all-state awards and 12 all-county awards in cross country and track and field and set school records in eight different individual events at Horace Greeley HS. She was a state champion and an 11-time state qualifier while also qualifying for the national meet five times.
Personal
Alana Brooke Levy is the daughter of Ross and Janet Levy and has two older brothers. Her oldest brother, Adam, competed in track and field for four years at Dartmouth, while her other brother, Andrew, is a 2009 graduate of Cornell who ran for the Big Red for four seasons. Her mother is also a Cornell graduate. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
