Ann Herman's up-to-date results
As a Junior (2014-15)Herman finished in the top 20 at the Harry Anderson Invitational, running the 5K course in 18:57.3 for 17th place.
As a Sophomore (2013-14)Herman ran in just one race this season, placing 21st at the Reif Memorial Run with a time of 19:15.2.
Herman contributed in the distance races for the Big Red during her second season. She showed steady progression throughout the year in both the 3000 and 5000, posting her best times at the conclusion of the season. She marked a 10:28.06 in a 9
th place finish in the 3000 at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational. Her best 5000 came at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational, posting a 17:53.09 to finish 10
th.
As a Freshman (2012-13)Herman began her Cornell career well, taking 16th place at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet. She followed that with a 36th-place showing at the Yellowjacket Invitational and a 12th-place finish at the Paul Short Run's Open Race in late September. She also competed at the Princeton Invitational, taking 89th place in the 219-athlete field.
Before CornellHerman led her Pennsbury teammates to the 2011 state cross country championship with an outstanding third-place individual finish, and she went on to qualify for the Nike Cross Country Nationals as an individual, where she finished a terrific 42nd. Herman has a track personal best of 10:21 for 3000 meters and was among Pennsylvania’s best in the distance events as well.
PersonalAnn Regina Herman is the daughter of Martin Herman and Gabrielle Costello. She has two younger sisters, Lizzie and Katherine, and a younger brother, Patrick.
