As a Junior (2017-18)

• Scored at both Indoor and Outdoor Heps.
• Placed sixth in the weight throw (56-2 1/2) indoors and sixth in the hammer (167-0) at outdoors.
• Competed at the ECAC Outdoor Championships, taking 12th in the hammer (166-5).
• Won two events, the weight throw at the Sunday Invitational (55-5 1/2) and the hammer at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational with a season’s best mark.
• Notched season best in the weight throw (57-3 3/4) to take third at the Deneault Memorial Invitational.

As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Had yet another strong season during her sophomore campaign, posting seven top-10 finishes in the weight throw during the indoor season, including an eight-place showing at the Indoor Heps.
• Also had a fantastic outdoor season competing predominantly in the hammer throw.
• Earned four top-five finishes in the hammer including one win at the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet where her winning mark of 170’ 0” helped her crack the top-10 all-time at Cornell in the event.
• Also competed at the Outdoor Heps and the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships in the hammer, placing ninth and 19th, respectively.

As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Had a successful first season throwing for the Big Red, finishing in the top 10 of the weight throw in all eight meets she competed in and in the top five of the hammer throw in three of five meets she threw in.
• Earned a second place finish in the weight throw at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships with a season-best of 59’5” and went on to finish sixth at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Outdoors, finished second in the hammer throw at the Outdoor Upstate Challenge and then threw a season best 165’10” for a fifth place finish at the outdoor Heps.

Before Cornell
• Was the third-overall-ranked hammer thrower and third-overall-ranked discus thrower for high school-aged athletes in Canada.
• In 2014, won High School Provincials before becoming captain of the Little Flower Academy track team her senior season.
• Personal bests are 164 feet, 7 inches in the hammer, 132-1 in the discus and 52-6 in the weight.
 
Personal
• Autumn Channel Eunice Covington is the daughter of Grover and Natalie Covington.
• Her father was a defensive end for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League and was inducted into the league’s Hall of Fame in 2000.
• Her older brother, Christian, was drafted to the Houston Texans in 2015.
• Autumn also has an older sister, Asianna, who is on the track team at Georgia.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
