2025-26 | JUNIOR SEASON
Competed in 16 meets for the Big Red, highlighted by 11 first place finishes and a new personal best mark in the pole vault of 4.36m at the Cornell Invite where she took gold... Hilliard took first at Ivy Indoor Heps with a best mark of 4.28m and second out Outdoor Heps with a mark of 4.28m... she also qualified for NCAA Division I East First Round in pole vault where she placed 5th overall with a best mark of 4.27m, allowing her to qualifiy for championships in Eugene, Oregon where she placed 18th with a mark of 4.09m, earning her All-America honors.

2024-25 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in 15 meets for the Big Red, highlighted by ten podium finishes and a personal best mark in the pole vault of 4.32m at the Ivy League Outdoor Heps Championships where she took gold, setting a meet record and school record... she also qualified for NCAA Division I East First Round in pole vault where she placed 29th overall with a best mark of 3.94m.

2023-24 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Made her collegiate debut at the Greg Pages Relays & Multi, taking third place in pole vault … posted the Big Red’s freshman indoor pole vault record, putting up a 3.90m vault … set a personal best 4.20m pole vault in the NCAA East First Round, tying the Cornell outdoor school record and setting the freshman outdoor school record … took first place in the pole vault at six invitationals for the Big Red.  

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a part of the CIF Championship team in 2021... was member of the North County Pole Vault Club... participated in National Honors Society, Peer Counseling and was a Humane Society volunteer.

PERSONAL
Avery Rose Hilliard is the daughter of Bill and Caryl Hilliard... she ahs one brother, Cole... she is enrolled in the college of Arts and Sciences
