Javelin 146' 2"
As a Senior (2012-13)
Dombrowski ended her Cornell career with strong showings outdoors. She was fourth at the Outdoor Heps with personal-best throw of 146' 2" to score four points for the Big Red. She earned a spot at the NCAA East Regional in Greensboro, N.C. with that throw, and she took 40th place at that meet to miss qualifying for the national championship.

As a Junior (2011-12)
Dombrowski participated at the Penn Relays in the javelin, placing 20th with a throw of 123' 9". The next weekend at the Outdoor Heps, Dombrowski placed sixth in the javelin, scoring a point for the Big Red with a throw of 130' 11". Her junior season came to an end at the Outdoor ECACs, where she took 19th place thanks to a throw of 124' 6" in the javelin. Her best throw of the year, at 141' 2", is the third-best javelin in Cornell history.

As a Sophomore (2010-11)
With her shoulder finally strong after rotator cuff/labrum surgery from her senior year in high school, Dombrowski returned to form in the 2011 season as a sophomore, raising her lifetime personal best by over 10 feet and her college personal best by almost 30. Dombrowski opened her outdoor season as Cornell's lone competitor at the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton. She was the top college thrower in the meet, and recorded her first lifetime personal best of the season throwing the javelin 130’2 ¼”. Dombrowski upped her best by nearly 2 meters winning the javelin throw at the Spring Invitational at Cornell, throwing 135’9”, missing the ECAC qualifying standard by 2 centimeters. Dombrowski again increased her personal best by over a meter winning the Cornell Outdoor Upstate Challenge. She won the event by 5 meters throwing 139’4, gaining the #4 spot on Cornell’s All Time list in the javelin and a trip to the ECAC Championships. She finished her season with flying colors by earning her sash at the 2011 Heptagonal/Ivy League Championships at Yale, throwing 135’ ½’ to finish fourth.

As a Freshman (2009-10)
As a freshman, Brittany made her presence known in the Ivy League with a win at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational in 2010.

Before Cornell
Dombrowski was a three-time New York City Catholic School Champion in the javelin, and was instrumental in leading her team to both an indoor and outdoor city title in 2008. She set the New York State Junior class record in the javelin and holds the NY State Catholic Record, which was set winning the 2008 Eastern States Championship. Dombrowski is also the league record holder in the javelin. Aside from track and field, Dombrowski played soccer and was part of a team that won the league title in 2008 and served as captain of the team for two seasons.

Personal
Brittany Hines Dombrowski is the daughter of Joseph Dombrowski and Maria Hines and has an older brother, Dylan. Her father competed in track and field at Fordham University and tied the college record in the high jump with a jump of 6’8” in 1976. Dombrowski’s brother was a member of the University of Connecticut track and field squad and was an IC4A scorer in the javelin with a throw of 207’. Dombrowski is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
