Biography
At Cornell:
Thomas is a two-time ECAC qualifier and a two-time Heps scorer in the discus. She is currently ranked eighth all-time at Cornell in the discus, a position she is determined to improve upon. A fierce competitor, Thomas made the finals in seven of eight meets during the 2007 season. With a little more technique work, she has the ability to be a consistent 150’-160’ thrower. Look for Thomas to be in the top three at Heps and to be an NCAA Regional qualifier in 2008. She is also a member of the Festival of Black Gospel, where she is not only a talented singer but also a member of the board. At Coral Reef HS: Crystal was ranked the #2 discus thrower in the state of Florida her senior year.
