Dina Iacone's up-to-date results

As a Senior (2015-16)
Iacone ran in five cross country races as a senior, placing a season-best fifth at the John Reif Memorial.

On the track, she competed in five meets, placing second in the 5K at the Marc Deneault Invitational. At Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonals, she placed 12th in the 10K.

As a Junior (2014-15)
Iacone did not compete in any events as junior.

As a Sophomore (2013-14)
Iacone ran to a 12th place finish at the season-opening meet against Army (18:38.2) and a 65th place finish at the Boston College Invitational (18:36.0).

Iacone was limited to three meets, while transitioning to the middle distances in her second season. She marked a season best 3000 time of 10:46.17 in a 14th place finish at the Deneault Memorial.

As a Freshman (2012-13)
Iacone was one of Cornell's top freshmen in 2012, starting her  Big Red career with an 11th-place showing at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet. She then took ninth at the Yellowjacket Invite, 64th at the Paul Short Run and 20th at the Wisconsin Invite Open Race. She earned the honor of racing at the Heps, where she was the Big Red's seventh runner in taking 28th place.

On the track, Iacone made an immediate impact by competing in important events for Cornell. She took part in the 5K at the Indoor ECAC Championships, placing 12th. She also was 18th in the 5K at the Outdoor Heps, and she ran the 10K at the Outdoor Heps as well, placing 11th. Her seasonal best of 35:35.06 outdoors in the 10K is the Cornell freshman record in that event.

Before Cornell
Iacone is among the premier distance runners in the mid-Atlantic and has proven to be among the best cross country runners and distance runners in New Jersey the past two years. A New Jersey state Group champion in both the 1600 and 3200, Iacone has personal bests of 4:55 for 1600, 9:57 for 3K, 10:30.57 for 3200 and 17:18 for 5000 meters on the track.

Personal
Dina Ann Iacone is the daughter of Frank and Paula Iacone. She has an older sister, Karla, and a younger sister, Michelle.
