As a Senior (2013-14)Corley had a busy senior season, competing primarily in the sprint hurdles and jumps. She focused on the 60 hurdles and long jump during the indoor season. Her best long jump of the indoor season came at the Robert J. Kane Invitational, posting a 18’ 3” jump in a 2
nd place finish. The following week she took home the top spot in the 60 hurdles at the Ithaca College Quad Meet. Her best 60 hurdle time of the season came at the Deneault Memorial, posting a 9.18 in a 5
th place finish. She competed in the long jump and high jump at the Indoor Heps, coming in 5
th and 16
th place respectively. Outdoors, she added the 100 hurdles, while still competing in the long jump and high jump. She had a strong showing at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational. She took 1
st place in the long jump, while adding 5
th place finishes in the 100 hurdles and high jump. She posted a career best 100 hurdle time of 14.79 in a 3
rd place finish the following week at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational. She concluded the season at the Outdoor Heps, again competing in the long jump and high jump. She marked a 9
th place finish in the long jump, while converting on a career best height of 5’ 4.25” to finish 14
th in the high jump.
As a Junior (2012-13)Corley competed for Cornell in the multi events in the 2013 season, participating in the pentathlon at the Indoor Heps and scoring 3,343 points. She also took part in the long jump at the Outdoor Heps. Corley set a personal record in the pentathlon during the season by scoring 3,376 at the Cornell Relays in December 2012. She also had personal bests in the 800, 60 hurdles, 100 hurdles and shot put during the year.
As a Sophomore (2011-12)Corley just missed scoring for Cornell at the 2012 Outdoor Heps, placing eighth in the long jump despite making the event finals. Though she fouled on her first two jumps, her third jump of 5.40 meters qualified her for the final, and she finished just .24 meters away from scoring. One week later at the Outdoor ECAC Championships, Corley leaped 5.42 meters in the long jump to take 13th place.
As a Freshman (2010-11)Corley was expected to compete in the high jump and long jump events as a freshman, but she was unable to because of illness. After a year off, she will be rejoining the team as a sophomore.
Before CornellCorley was Michigan's top-ranked long jumper, jumping 18'6". She participated in high jump and was All-State her junior and senior years. In additon, Corley was All-American in the shuttle hurdle relay Indoors as a senior.
PersonalDominique Corley is the daughter of Victor Corley and Jewel McGowan. She has two sisters, a step-sister, two nephews and a niece. Corley is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
