Biography
As a Junior (2021-22)
• Competed in three cross country events
• Opened the season with a 24:48.1 6K at the Yellowjacket Invitational
• Closed the season at home with a 19:16.8 5K time at the John Reif Memorial
Prior to Cornell
• Two-time CIF State Track & Field Championships qualifier (2017, 18).
• 2017 CIF Los Angeles Sectional Champion in the 1600-meter.
• Finished third in the 1600-meter at the 2018 CIF Los Angeles Section Track & Field Championships, helping Palisades Charter HS to a runner-up team finish.
• Placed fourth in the 1500-meter at the 2018 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Championships.
Personal
• Elizabeth Grace Rene is the daughter of Robert and Kathy Rene and has two younger siblings, a brother and a sister.
• Her father, Robert, graduated from Cornell.
