Bianco's up-to-date results
As a Junior (2017-18)
• Competed at both the Indoor and Outdoor Heps.
• Scored at the indoor meet with the fourth-place finish in the 4x400 relay.
• Also took 16th in the 500 meters (1:17.23).
• At Outdoor Heps, was 13th in the 400 hurdles (1:04.38).
• Won five total events during the season.
• Notched personal best in the 500 (1:16.51) at the Valentine Invitational to take eighth.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Had a solid sophomore campaign for the Cornell sprint and sprint hurdle squads.
• Accumulated 19 top 10 finishes between the indoor and outdoor seasons.
• Indoors, had a collegiate-best 58.52 in the 400 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup and used another personal record of 1:16.75 in the 500 to take second at the Robert J. Kane Invitational.
• Was also a member of the eighth place Distance Medley Relay team at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships and finished 12th in the 500.
• Outdoors, finished second in the 400 hurdles at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational and used a personal best of 1:01.37 in the event to make the final at outdoor Heps and finish seventh and was on the second place 4x400 team.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Immediately impacted the Big Red sprint hurdle and sprint squads in her freshman season.
• Indoors, helped the 4x400 meter really team to a six different top 10 finishes, including a second place finish at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships and as an individual at the Heps, placed 10th in the 500 (1:16.76).
• Outdoors, again helped the 4x400 team to a second place finish at the Ivy League Championships.
• As an individual at the outdoor Heps, finished in sixth place in the 400 meter hurdles (1:01.55).
Before Cornell
• A spectacular all-around athlete and relay runner, Ellery excelled in the 400 meter hurdles at Saratoga Springs High School.
• A four-year indoor and outdoor track captain and letter winner, finished second in the 2014 New York State meet with a best of 60.06 and was named Track Athlete of the Year in by the Saratoga News.
• Also played soccer at Saratoga Springs, earning four letters and First Team All Star honors in 2013 and 2014.
Personal
• Ellery Katherine Bianco is the daughter of Troy and Tina Bianco.
• She has an older brother, KC, and an older sister, Rema, and is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
