At Cornell
Clarke had a solid freshman year, highlighted by a seventh place finisher to lead the Big Red at the Rochester Invitational and a win in the 3000 meters at Cornell's Upstate Challenge in January.  She competed well in the 3000 meters and 1500 through the track season, gaining valuable collegiate racing experience.

Before Cornell
Clarke was a member of eight All-American relays and was a member of the state champion cross country team as a sophomore. She was the Westchester County champion in the 1500m and 3000m as a sophomore. Clarke also served as team captain of both the cross country and track and field teams as a senior.

Personal
Emma Chandler Clarke is the daughter of James and Chandler Clarke and has an older brother and sister and a younger brother and sister. Her father was a swimmer at Princeton in the late 1970s. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
