At Cornell
Clarke had a breakthrough sophomore year, highlighted by a terrific anchor leg for the Big Red’s fifth place Distance Medley Relay at the indoor ECACs, where she split 4:56.1 for 1600 to earn All-East honors.  Twice a competitor for the Big Red at the cross country Heps, Emma has great range and has proven to be a reliable competitor in her first two years for Cornell.

Before Cornell
Clarke was a member of eight All-American relays and was a member of the state champion cross country team as a sophomore. She was the Westchester County champion in the 1500m and 3000m as a sophomore. Clarke also served as team captain of both the cross country and track and field teams as a senior.

Personal
Emma Chandler Clarke is the daughter of James and Chandler Clarke and has an older brother and sister and a younger brother and sister. Her father was a swimmer at Princeton in the late 1970s. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
