As a Sophomore (2010-11)
McKee has consistently been a versitile athlete for the women's track and field team. Continuing this into her sophomore year, she also helped the Big Red to win the Deneault Invitational by being a member of the championship 4x400 relay team. In the indoor season, she set personal bests in the 800m, high jump, and the pentathlon.  During the outdoor season of her sophomore year, she returned to her roots in the intermediate hurdles, and 4x400 relay.

As a Freshman (2009-10)
In her freshman season, McKee started her career as a multi-event competitor, competing in the pentathlon indoors and the heptathlon outdoors. 

Before Cornell
McKee helped her track and field team to back-to-back conference championships and three straight county championships while earning a spot on the all-state team indoors as a junior. She also claimed three all-conference honors and was named All-Western North Carolina as a senior. She also played volleyball, serving as captain as a senior and earning a spot on the all-conference team.

Personal
Erin Elizabeth McKee is the daughter of Chet and Ruth McKee and has two older brothers. Her oldest brother, Eric, was a cheerleader at Virginia Tech for two years, while her younger brother, Mikal, is a member of the UNC Greensboro wrestling team. She is enrolled in the College Agricultural and Life Sciences in the Division of Nutritional Sciences.
