As a Sophomore (2016-17)
Martinez continued to compete in the short sprints for Cornell as a sophomore, setting career-bests in the 60 (8.63), 100 (14.00) and 300 (46.69) and grabbing a third place finish in the 100 at the Cornell Cabin Fever Invitational.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
Martinez competed in six meets in the short sprints for the Big Red during her first season. Indoors, she finished eighth in the 200 meter dash at the Cornell April Cabin Fever Indoor Invitational. Outdoors, she finished fifth overall in the 100 meter dash and helped her 4x400 meter relay team to a third place finish at the Outdoor Upstate Challenge.
