As a Junior (2017-18)
• Competed in three track meets.
• Placed ninth in the 1500 at the Cortland Classic Invitational with a season-best time of 4:59.52.
• At the Big Red Outdoor Invitational, took 17th in the 1500 (5:03.93).
• Also was 78th in the 1500 at the Bison Outdoor Classic (4:59.70).
• Did not compete in any cross country meets.
As a Sophomore (2016-17)
• Made collegiate cross country debut at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, finishing 54th.
• Went on to finish 57th at the Yellowjacket Invitational and 78th at the Paul Short 6K Open before a season-best 12th at the John Reif Memorial Run.
• On the track, competed in one indoor meet and four outdoor meets.
• Indoors, finished first with the 4x800 meter relay team at the Greg Page Relays and third at the same meet with the Distance Medley Relay squad.
• Ran a collegiate best of 4:57.91 in the mile at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
As a Freshman (2015-16)
• Competed in four track meets as a freshman, competing primarily in the 1500 meters.
Before Cornell
• Had two top-10 finishes at the Arizona State Championships and was named the Prescott High School team’s most valuable runner her junior and senior years.
• Her team finished third in the state her last two years.
• As a freshman, was named the team’s best new runner.
• In addition, was involved in eight clubs in high school.
Personal
• Jordan Frances Twombly Ellis is the daughter of Robert Ellis and Sarah Twombly.
• Has a younger brother, Azra, and is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
