2025-26 | SENIOR SEASON
Competed in 11 meets for the Big Red to cap her collegiate career... qualified for Indoor Ivy Heps...set a new personal best in the 300m with a time of 40.94 at the Greg Page Relays & Multi, taking fifth place... took first in the 400m at the Kane Invite with a time of 58.63.
2024-25 | JUNIOR SEASON
Took third int he 400m at the Transatlantic Series, finishing in 57.00...took first in the 400m at the Cortland Classic, finishing with a time of 57.73...took second in the 400m at the Big Red Invite, finishing in 57.52.
2023-24 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Part of the first place 4x400 relay team at the Greg Pages Relays and set personal-best 300m time of 41.42... Aided the 4x400 relay team to a first-place finish in the Southern Tier Invite and Sam Howell Invitational... set personal-best 400m in the prelims at the ECAC Indoor Championships... competed at Outdoor Heps with with 4x400 team, placing sixth.
2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Took second-place in the 400 and was a part of the first place 4x400 relay squad at Upstate Challenge... took seventh (11:58.13) in the DMR at indoor Heps.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Aided team to FAA Track and Field Championships for three years... NEPSTA Division II Champion 400M... Recipient of 2019 Class A All-NEPSAC Award for track and field... Voted MVP 2021
PERSONAL
Justine Carmela Hounsell is the daughter of Patrick and Sonia Hounsell... she has one twin brother also attending Cornell... She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
