Biography
Before Cornell
In high School, Arias was a three-time 3A Nevada State Champion in both the shot put and discus beginning her sophomore year. She holds her school record for both the shot put and discus. She was named Field Athlete of the Year by her coaches and teammates every year of her high school career. She was also named to the Nevada All-State Academic Team in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Her junior year, she was awarded with an All-League Honorable Mention in basketball. During her senior year, she was a co-captain for her volleyball team and helped to lead them to a league championship title and second place finish at state. Arias was also named part of the Nevada second team All-League.

Arias is the daughter of Rosa and Julio Arias and has an older brother and sister. She is in the College of Arts and Sciences.
