As a Sophomore (2018-19)
• Did not compete in any track meets.
• Ran in four cross country meets.
• Placed seventh at the John Reif Memorial Run (10/19).
As a Freshman (2017-18)
• Holds freshman record in indoor DMR (11:36.88).
• Scored twice at the Indoor Heps, taking fifth as a part of the DMR (11:43.54) and sixth in the 1000 with a personal-record time of 2:49.80.
• Also was fourth in the DMR (11:43.86) at the ECAC Indoor Championships and 28th in the 800 (2:13.82).
• Netted 10 top-five finishes on the year.
• PR’d in the indoor 800 (2:13.17) to place fourth at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup.
• Also had PR time of 4:36.46 in the 1500 at the Jim Bush/Bob Larsen Invitational to take eighth.
• Had a busy slate in first collegiate cross country season, competing in five meets.
• Kicked off the year taking 31st at the quad meet with Columbia, Brown and NYU and went on to place 88th in the open race at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
• Saw a massive improvement in the open race at the Paul Short Run, finishing 17th overall.
• Continued with a 105th-place finish at the Penn State National Open and closed out season with an impressive fourth-place showing at the Reif Memorial Run.
Prior to Cornell
• One of the best middle distance runners in Pennsylvania, Jawork was the lone qualifier for the finals of both the 800 and 1600 at the state meet.
• Set a personal best of 2:11.46 and 4:51.19 in the process.
