Biography
Before Cornell
McDermott was the state champion in the pole vault in 2007 and helped her squad to a league title in 2008. She was a four-time most valuable performer for the indoor and outdoor field events and served as team captain twice. McDermott also played a year of field hockey and one year of volleyball.
Personal
Kerry Lynn McDermott is the daughter of Bartley and Linda McDermott and has two brothers. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
