At Cornell
Lienhoop is one of the Big Red's most versatile athletes. As a sophomore last season, she excelled in the horizontal jumps, reaching personal bests in both events. At the Indoor Heptagonal Championships, she was a double league scorer, reaching an indoor personal best of 38' 9" in the triple jump for sixth and 18' 2 1/2" in the long jump for fifth place. She was a qualifier for the indoor ECAC meet. Outdoors, she was among the team's elite competitors, again excelling in the jumps. She reached a personal best of 39' 6" in the triple jump at the Outdoor Heptagonal Championships, finishing fifth. She was a double qualifier for the ECAC meet and returns for her junior season as one of the league's top athletes in her events.
Before Cornell
Lienhoop was a four-time team most valuable performer and was a four-time state finalist, advancing to the finals three times in the long jump and once in the high jump.
Personal
Kimberly Michelle Lienhoop is the daughter of Mark and Dorthy Lienhoop and has an older and younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
