Triller's up-to-date results
As a Senior (2017-18)
• Competed in four track meets.
• Won both the 4x800 relay (9:12.91) and DMR (12:20.70) at the Greg Page Relays.
• At the Southern Tier Collegiate Open, third in the 800 (2:22.53) and second in the 4x400 relay (4:16.29).
• Runner-up in the 800 at the Nittany Lion Challenge (2:15.07).
• Did not compete in any cross country meets.
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Ran in three cross country races, placing 29th in the Yellowjacket Invitational, 50th in the Paul Short 6K Open and a season-best seventh at the John Reif Memorial Run.
• Had a strong season on the track, making valuable contributions to the 4x800 and Distance Medley Relay squads as well as to the middle-distance crew.
• Indoors, was a member of four first place relays and finished fifth with the 4x800 team at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Finished third in the 800 at the Upstate Challenge and fifth in the 1000 at the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
• Outdoors, placed third in the 800 at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival with a personal record 2:12.24.
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Competed in four cross country races, finishing a season-best sixth at the Canisius Alumni Classic and grabbing a pair of 20th-place finishes at the Lehigh Paul Short Run and the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational.
• On the track, opened indoor season with a third-place finish with the distance medley relay team at the Nittany Lion Challenge.
• Placed first in the 1000 meters at the Marc Deneault Invitational, qualifying her for Indoor ECAC Championships, where she placed sixth in the event with a personal-best time of 2:50.73.
• Outdoors, took fifth in the 800 at the UC Riverside Spring Break Invitational and was sixth in the 1500 at the UCLA Distance Carnival.
• Also helped the 4x800 team to a fourth-place finish at Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonals.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• In debut season, recorded two top-20 finishes for the Big Red: 16
th in the Army 5K (18:27.45) and 20
th in the Harry Anderson Invitational 5K (19:04.6).
• On the track, made impact known in the relays.
• 4x400 team broke the freshman record at the Kane Invitational, posting a time of 3:57.23.
• At the indoor Upstate Challenge, was a member of the winning 4x800 team, and, at the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonals, her two-mile relay team finished second.
Before Cornell
• The 2014 New York outdoor state champion at 800 meters, Triller also won the 2013 indoor 1000 meter state title in Barton Hall.
• Possessing great range, has personal bests of 2:10.96 for 800 meters, 2:52 for 1000 and 4:36 for 1500.
Personal
• Leah Rose Triller is the daughter of Darren and Anne Triller.
• She has an older sister, Claire, who attends SUNY Geneseo '16.
• She also has two younger sisters, Margaret and Jessie.
