As a Junior (2014-15)
Fong did not compete in any meets during her junior season.
As a Sophomore (2013-14)
Fong continued to specialize in the vault during her second season at Cornell. In her first indoor meet of the season, she marked a personal best clearance at 11’ 3.75” in a 4th place showing at the Greg Page Relays. Outdoors, she really got in the groove towards the end of the season. Fang marked a 1st place finish at the Cortland Classic Invitational. She equaled her career best clearance at her final three events of the season, which included an 11th place finish at the Outdoor Heps.
Before Cornell
Fong was a member of the St. Mary's School track and field team for four season as a pole vaulter. She captured the 2A State Championship in the event in 2010, before continuing to win the 3A State Championship in 2011 and 2012.
Personal
Linnea Bin Fong is the daughter of Douglas and Paula Fong, and has one sister, Dana. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
