PERFORMANCE REFERENCE



2023-24 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Set a personal best in the 800m with a 2:22.12 minute race at the 2024 Bomber Invitational … posted a new personal best in the 3000m with a 9:32.89 minute race at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships … ran the 1500m in 4:26.85 minutes to set a new personal best in the Bison Outdoor Classic … recorded a 16:23.17 minute run in the 5000m, setting a personal best at the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  

2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON  
Set the Cornell freshman record in the mile twice in one weekend at the ECAC Championships (4:50.62)… competed in indoor (3000 – 10th) and outdoor (5000 – 18th) Heps... earned five top-five finishes. 

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Elected as team captain in Fall 2021… three-time All-County (FCIAC) First Team member… two time All-State selection… named Darien’s MVP in cross country (2018, 2019, 2020)… served as the Spring 2022 team captain (T/F)… earned All-County (FCIAC) First Team honors  (T/F)… All-County (FCIAC) Second Team (T/F) honors… named Darien’s MVP in indoor track (2019-2020, 2020-2021).

PERSONAL
Mairead Grace Clas is the daughter of Brian Clas and Margaret Morrow… has one sister… her father Brian was a TF/XC athlete at Cornell, holding numerous Big Red records in the indoor and outdoor ranks… she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
