Biography
At Cornell:
Telloni is a two-time ECAC qualifier and a four time Heps scorer. Ranked fifth all-time indoors and seventh outdoors, she is one of Cornell’s best all-time shot putters. Although an injury-plagued junior year kept Telloni from performing at her usual high level, she still managed to make the finals in the shot at both the indoor and outdoor championships. Now, fully healthy, look for the Big Red tri-Captain to quickly regain her form and to challenge for a Heps title in 2008. At Jackson HS: Telloni was one of Ohio’s top shot put talents where she finished second in the State meet her senior year to go along with a fifth-place finish her Junior year. Personal: Maria Christine Telloni is the daughter of John Telloni and Mary Telloni, and has an older brother and younger sister.
