Before Cornell
Werle was the state champion in the 800m as a senior and was a part of the New England runner-up 4x800m relay after winning that relay as a junior. She also played ice hockey, serving as team captain for three years.
Personal
Meaghan Lange Werle is the daughter of Kevin and Wendy Werle and has a younger brother and two younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
