As a Senior (2014-15)
As a captain her senior season, Amick-Alexis bounced back from missing nearly a year of competition, placing fourth in the 60m at both the Cornell Sunday Invitational and the Beantown Challenge.

As a Junior (2013-14)
Amick-Alexis continued to specialize in the 60 and 60 hurdles in her third year at Cornell. She had a strong showing at the Bomber Invitational, posting a 2nd place finish. The following week she marked a 3rd place finish at the Deneault Memorial. She concluded her season at the Indoor Heps, posting a season best time of 8.99 in a prelim heat of the 60 hurdles, going on to a 7th place finish in the final.

As a Sophomore (2012-13)
Amick-Alexis' role continued to increase during her second year with the Big Red. She ran the 60-meter hurdles for Cornell at the Indoor Heps, scoring twoo points by placing fifth. She ran the same event at the Indoor ECACs, taking 12th place in a crowded field. She was a part of Cornell's 4x100 Shuttle Hurdle Championship relay at the Penn Relays, a team that took first place overall. And s he followed that by appearing on the team's 4x100 squad at Outdoor Heps to place second and score eight points. Her year ended at that meet when she also was sixth in the 100 hurdles and scored a point for the Big Red. She dropped her PR in the 100 hurdles to 14.09 at the Big Red Invitational and lowered her 200 PR by six tenths of a second at the UC Irvine Spring Break Classic. Amick-Alexis was given the Walker Smith Award as the team's best hurdler at the year-end banquet.

As a Freshman (2011-12)
Amick-Alexis took part in the Indoor Heps, just missing qualifying in the 60-meter hurdles by one place. At the Penn Relays, she was part of a shuttle hurdle relay team that that took fifth overall and had the third-best time in school history. At the Outdoor Heps, she again fell just short of qualifying for the finals, this time in the 100 hurdles. The time separating her from the finals was a mere .003 seconds. She also ran the 100 hurdles at the ECAC Outdoor Championships, taking 24th in the qualifying round. Her best time in the 100 hurdles of 14.34 sits as the ninth-best time in school history.

Before Cornell
A perennial Junior Olympic finalist, Amick-Alexis is a former 100-meter hurdle AAU national champion. While attending Norwalk High in Connecticut, Mina won the Connecticut Class L state championship as a freshman and was the state open runner up. She was all-new England both indoor and outdoor and broke a 32-year-old FCIAC record while becoming the FCIAC 100-meter champion. After moving to California. Her sophomore year she attended St. Ignatius college prep in San Francisco and is the school record holder in both the 300 meter IM’s and the 100 meter hurdles. Mina broke the 300 IM record at the WCAL championship and was a CCS finalist both her sophomore and junior year. Mina was named MVP her sophomore and junior year and even with an abbreviated senior season, Mina was still awarded the team's highest honor: the “Julius Yapp Award.” This is awarded to the athlete that most embodies excellence both on and off the track her senior year.

Personal
Mina Amick-Alexis is the daughter of Madschen and David Alexis and has a brother who competes in track and field for the University of California-Irvine.
