Before Cornell
Delong was named her school's female athlete of the year as a senior and earned all-league honors as a goalkeeper for field hockey, where she earned three letters to go along with the four she earned in track and field.

Rebecca Lynn Delong is the daughter of Thomas and Sallie Delong. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
