Forbes' up-to-date resultsAs a Junior (2014-15)Forbes continued to compete primarily in the sprints in her junior season. Indoors, she picked up a second-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 25.78 seconds at the Cornell Sunday Invitational and a third-place run in the same event with a time of 25.63 at the Deneault Memorial. She was also a member of the winning 4x400 relay team at the Southern Tier Open. Outdoors, she finished runner-up in the 400 at the Upstate Challenge, crossing the line in 59.58. At Outdoor Ivy League Heptagonals, she set a personal best in the 400, finishing in 57.48.
As a Sophomore (2013-14)Forbes followed an impressive freshman campaign with a strong second year on East Hill. She again focused her work in the sprints and sprint relays in her sophomore season. She posted a season best indoor 200 time of 25.34 in a 28
th place finish at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine. She followed that with a strong showing at the Deneault Memorial. She posted a career best 60 time of 7.82 to finish 7
th, while she added a 4
th place finish in the 200. She wrapped up the indoor season at the Heps, finishing 17
th in the prelim heats of the 60. Outdoors, Forbes focused on the 200 and 400. She posted a personal best 400 of 58.05 in a 9
th place finish at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Later in the season, she added a 2
nd place finish in the 400 at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational. She concluded the season at the Outdoor Heps, posting a personal best 200 time of 24.84 in a 16
th place finish.
As a Freshman (2012-13)Forbes had a strong start to her Cornell career, racing a the Outdoor Heps in the 4x100 relay where she helped the Big Red to a second-place finish and eight points. Forbes also ran in the 100-meter dash at the Outdoor Heps, coming in 18th in a time of 12.67 seconds.
Her best 200-meter time of 25.56 seconds came indoors in the Ithaca Bomber Invitational in February. Her college best in the 400 came at the same meet.
Before CornellOne of her state’s top long sprinters and a regular state meet scorer at 300 and 400 meters, Forbes enters Cornell with a best open 400 meters of 57.04 with some spectacular relay splits.
