At Cornell
Elected captain for both cross country and track, Pancoast enters her senior year as one of the top distance runners in the East and the nation. The Penn Relays women’s steeplechase champion in 2009, she was also the Heps runner-up, earned a bronze medal at the outdoor ECAC Championships and placed 23rd at the NCAA Championships while qualifying for the USA Track and Field Championships. The school record-holder in the 3K steeple, Pancoast has the third best time in Ivy League history in her outdoor track specialty. Her career has

also been marked by consistency and versatility: an all-Ivy, All-East and All-Region performer in cross country, she has scored at the indoor Heps in the 5000 meters and is an ECAC qualifier in the 3K and 5K. The 2007 Most Valuable Runner for the cross country team, she was also honored as the 2009 Most Valuable Distance Runner in Track. Two-times All-East in outdoor track, she has also qualified for the NCAA Regional meet twice in her career and has improved in every season while also earning Academic All-District citations.
At Westford Academy
A Massachusetts state champion in the 3200 as a senior, Stephanie was one of her state’s best in cross country as well. She also competed in gymnastics and the pole vault in high school.
Personal
Stephanie Lynne Pancoast is the daughter of Edward and Liane Pancoast and has a younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
