As a Senior (2012-13)
Koppelman ended her Cornell career by setting a new personal record in the hammer throw by more than three full meters. Her new best of 146' 11" came in her final appearance of her career in the Big Red Outdoor Invitational on April 28.
As a Sophomore (2010-11)
Koppelman competed unattached in one meet before she left for the spring semester to study abroad in Jordan. In her first and only meet of the season, she put up a mark of 47’2 ½” in the weight, for an improvement of almost 4 feet from her previous year. She also came close to a personal record in the shot put with a mark of 40’4”. She will focus on the shot, weight, and hammer in this upcoming year.
As a Freshman (2009-10)
During Koppelman’s freshman year, she put up marks of 41’4” in the shot put, 43’1” in the weight, 125’6” in the discus, and 129’6” in the hammer, showing a promising start to her collegiate career

Before Cornell
Koppelman was a five-time all-state honoree, earning top honors in shot put three times and twice in the discus. She was also a five-time all-region performer and was twice named team captain.
Personal
Emily Fisher Koppelman is the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Koppelman and has three brothers. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
