Biography

At Cornell
2012-13: Benedict did not compete in the 2012-13 campaign.

Prior to Cornell
Benedict was a six-time letter winner in wrestling at the Christian Brothers Academy and a four-year captain. He was a three-time class champion and two-time sectional champion. He was a Virginia Beach HS All-American. Benedict was also a four-time letter winner in lacrosse at attack.
 
Personal
Aaron Arthur Benedict is the son of Craig and Judy Benedict, and he has one brother and one sister. His uncle, Mike Hays, rowed at Cornell. Benedict is a student is the College of Arts and Sciences. He was president of his National Honor Society, and a member of the Student Senate and Peer Ministry.
