At Cornell
2013-14: Cisneros went a perfect 10-0 with seven bonus point wins (three pins, two tech falls, one major decision) while only competing during the fall. Cisneros won the B bracket at 149 pounds at the New York State Intercollegiates with five strong wins, including over wrestlers from Hofstra, Columbia and Army. He opened his career with five wins at the Binghamton Open, topping wrestlers from Princeton, Maryland, Army and Cleveland State. He was forfeited out of the championship match with Eastern champion Chris Villalonga.

Prior to Cornell
A three-time state champion and four-time state finalist, Cisneros was a consensus top 10 national recruit in high school. He completed his career with a 177-4 record. Cisneros became the youngest wrestler to win a title in state history and earned NWCA Senior Wrestler of the Year accolades as a senior.

Personal
David Alexander Cisneros is the son of David F. and Jocelyn Cisneros and has five brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
