2022-23 I FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR SEASON
Second-team All-Ivy League selection ... took over as the starter at heavyweight midseason ... posted a 9-8 mark with seven of the losses to ranked opponents ... placed seventh at the EIWA Championship, going 3-2 ... pinned nationally-ranked Travis Stefanik in the final seconds of the Big Red's dual meet triumph over Princeton ... was 3-2 against Ivy League competition in dual meets.

2021-22 I SENIOR SEASON
Went 3-3 overall with a 1-1 record in duals ... won two of his matches by fall ... was 1-2 at the Southern Scuffle at heavyweight ... all three of his losses came against ranked opponents.

2020-21 I JUNIOR SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Finished his sophomore campaign with a record of 22-12, becoming one of the most improved wrestlers in the lineup throughout the season ... NCAA qualifier at heavyweight following a third place finish at the EIWA Championships ... went 4-1 at EIWA's and advanced to the semifinals ... won 11 bouts by decision, five by fall, five by major decision and one by forfeit ... named second team All-Ivy League ... named to the EIWA All-Academic team ... went 4-0 at the Cornell Open and 5-1 at the Bearcat Open.

2018-19 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Was 9-3 on the season at heavyweight, including 1-1 in dual meets ... earned eight victories by decision ... won the Lock Haven Open with four victories, two coming by a takedown or less ... was 2-1 at both the South Beach Invitational and the Shorty Hitchcock Invitational ... won his collegiate debut in the Big Red's dual meet victory over Binghamton with a 7-5 triumph over Joe Doyle.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Furman was a state champion as a senior at Canon-McMillan HS after going 47-3 at heavyweight ... was a Fargo All-American and a Super 32, WPIAL and Powerade champ ... earned four sectional titles ... graduated with a 138-33 career record, including 87-9 in his final two years ... earned 21 wins by fall as a senior.

Brendan David Furman is the son of Rachel Friem and has an older sister and younger brother ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
