At Cornell
2012-13: Hernandez-Henderson did not compete for the Big Red.

2011-12: In his second season with the Big Red, Hernandez-Henderson wrestled for Cornell at the Binghamton Open and Body Bar Invitational.

2010-11: Hernandez-Henderson competed at 141 pounds at the Binghamton Open and at 133 pounds at the Body Bar Invitational during his rookie season.

At Temescal Canyon
A four-year starter and letter winner at Temescal Canyon HS, he was a two-time league qualifier. Hernandez-Henderson won a league title as a senior and finished third at the CIF in 2010. A CIF Southern Section Masters Meet Qualifier, he served as team captain as a senior. Hernandez-Henderson also competed for the water polo and swimming teams. He was part of the school-record 200 medley relay squad.

Personal
Brett James Hernandez-Henderson is the son of Keith and Tasha Henderson and has a younger brother. His father played football at William Paterson, while his mother played softball at Hawaii. He is majoring in biology while enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
